Just been in Innsbruck, Austria for a few days, so had to spend a few hours at the airport for some photos. Interesting to see that Innsbruck airport has a river just over the fence from the threshold, similar to Queenstown, so any aircraft that overshoots the runway will meet the same fate. I kept comparing the surroundings to Queenstown, without comparing the approach plates I think that ZQN is a more difficult approach. First few photos here, and if there is interest then I can post more. I am aware that this is the NZFF forum, and that I often post non-NZ aircraft photos. If I am posting too many photos that are not relevant then just let me know with a short reply, or send me a private message, no problems to stop posting if I am leading the NZFF off course!!!

smooth landings.

Great photos, Innsbruck is on my (large) list of airports I'd love to visit one day.

For a very long time, LOWI was my default FS airport

Great to see these pics - do you have any of the terminal buildings, perhaps shot from across the airport?
