Almost missed out on getting these shots, as I did not know that a Fokker F50 was due in to Santa Marta airport in northern Colombia. I managed to get the camera out fairly quickly, so still managed to fire off a few shots. 31 degrees and humid, so not a day to hang around in the hot sun!!

beats an Airbus any day!!

Nice..bit different ..especially from this end of the world where we never see Fokker 50s

One thing i missed was the large Oval windows of the F27 , Viscount the same , ive flown on the type in Aussie , sorta lost its appeal after the Friendship .

Nice photos, I flew on one of those in Zimbabwe. Was actually my first experience flying on an aeroplane with propellers - very exciting for my 8 year old self at the time!
