I was sitting in transit at Frankfurt yesterday evening, after a late arrival with TAP Air Portugal. Sitting there with a cup of coffee when this came past. Had the camera nearby so fired off some shots, a Lufthansa A321 in retro livery. Quite a sight after the 'regular' LH aircraft. Late afternoon sun helped, although I had to take the photos through thick glass:-

more photos from Frankfurt to follow, some interesting liveries there and the light was good.

Smooth landings.

These retro liveries are fun, and often much more characterful than the modern ones.
My AI fleet has most of these one-offs (I found to my delight), always on the lookout for them.
Came across the Air France 75th anniversary A320 retro last week...

Yeah it does, actually the 321 actually looks ok stretched the way it is, compared to that aberration that is the 318

That looks so cool! I've said this many times and will say it again, how great would an Air New Zealand plane look in a retro livery. winkyy.gif Listening up Air NZ? biggrin.gif

Sure is hell better than a simple white fuselage , the old cheat line was what made the airline individual , like the Air-forces off today gone all grey .
