Another great open day for Warbirds at Ardmore today, the weather did its biz and cleared up for a record turnout. A couple of photos only, actually watched the show with the naked eye as opposed to through a lens. Highlights, the Strikemaster display, Simon Gault in the Thunder mustang and as always the Spit. Best was taking my daughter up in the Dak at her request, been asking since the last open day, for her 5th Birthday today.

You were very lucky with that last photo, not only did you get the ideal seat in the DC-3 but also the Mustang came just right. Sometimes you get very lucky and you did! Nice paint job on the Mustang too.

I guess that the views from the Strikemaster cockpit must be good, looks like it would be great visibility from such a large canopy.

Thanks for posting.

smooth landings.

Awesome display by Dave Brown in the Strikemaster at Ardmore today. Also saw what I reckon was the best Messenger display I have seen, Doug keeps on getting better and better in the Spitfire, great day and thanks to all involved.

Simon's display today was brilliant!!!

Was a pleasure watching Geoff run up the DC-3 today.

Andrew gives a wave to the guys in the tower during his display.

The crowd watch Frank Parker's Kittyhawk display.

I was working on the aero club stand in the afternoon so didn't get any photos of those displays, but here are a few from the morning:

Had a bit of a jet-buffet at Ardmore today, the L-39, Learjet and Strikemaster were all flying at various times during the day!

Derek , that is the regulars , to get it right takes time , no point mushing it before time , gestation off the Hawker Hurricane followed the same route .
