Still the 6th here so a few hours to go yet but my brain mostly works on NZ time anyway, not least because that way I can have any presents thirteen hours earlier

I've timed my epic Kaitaia-Invercargill flight so the leg I'll get to fly tomorrow takes in some real world favourite places in my second home: Muriwai, Bethells Beach, Piha, the Waitakere Ranges and Whatipu, plus I'll be flying right over my friends' house in Waimauku on the way!
