Sorting out some of the photos from the last few months, and here are some of 737s and an A321. Looking at the close ups, I am amazed that there are not more engine strikes, given the low clearance between the cowling and the ground.

Nice close ups , It would be interesting to measure the distance from the AOA at landing with the decompression of the landing gear eloes , specific the 737 , back in the day off the old props they had rubber mounts on the rear fuselage and i,m guessing the very fairing/mount on the 737 engine is for that purpose ... for a heavy handed pilot .
