I asked for a room with a view of the airport........

Passed through Oslo OSL airport again yesterday and had to spend the night in the airport hotel. I requested a room with a view of the action, and this is the view that I got. First by day-

and one bonus shot from yesterday, this time a KLM Fokker at a foggy Prague, Czech Republic-



I am now in Tbilisi, Georgia, and will try and get some airport photos here, if the fog lifts.

NOW THATS A HOTEL! and no boy racers near by making a bloody noise

There is also a hotel the other side of one of the main runways, must ask for a room overlooking the runway next time, although perhaps I will not get too much sleep if there is a lot of action to photo.

Be music to my ears , just had a LC130 arrive from the ICE ... the way i moved you'd think i was on it , but without the sweet sound would have missed the typical antics when the USAF return over the city.

If this is the as Above Hotel HT, It doesn't look to bad as Hotel's go .

Yep, that was the one. The other hotel that is adjacent to one of the runways is the Comfort Runway Hotel. Pity about the price of the airport hotel though, something around NZD362 a night even if you book in advance. Ouch!!
