I use a Canon 550D and had a 55-250mm IS f/4-5.6 equipped. It a rather cheap lens but does the trick!

I will post some of my pics up too later I came in through Wellington on NZ335 at 9:30AM and flew out again on NZ8182 to Wellington then on to Nelson man were the landings interesting in these winds!

Nah, that wasn't me, but I saw that guy.. I was the closest car parked to him, I saw someone drive past in a maroon coloured car in a pilots uniform, maybe that was you?
