Wanaka airport has been surprisingly quiet recently, despite the fact that Warbirds is nearly here again. In previous years, from about the start of January, the skies were often buzzing with interesting aircraft doing interesting things. Seems like those days are gone. Here are a few of the recent photos........

The first 3 aircraft are rather interesting and different in any case.

GA aircraft ..look at that , IM I'm a toy ... i was sorta waiting for an aerial of a radio control unit come into the picture
