Wonderful... with stuff like this coming our way I only feel very slightly less bad about not being able to make it down there. cheers1.gif
Love that aerial shot - the Baunton scenery from all those years ago nailed it, and it is still in my FS9.5 sim.
Time to dig out that airshow, swap in some Aussie Hornets for our whatif F-16s maybe.

Err... did they make you pay entrance, or do they pay you??

The Australian F-18 fleet , the first public display and debut in New Zealand was in Christchurch 25 years ago during the Singapore-Christchurch airshow which all coinsided with the RNZAFs 50th .... time really fly's .

1977 , The DC-3 bowed out off the RNZAF , i happened to be on the corner of Avonhead and Greys Road when three in formation did a low sweep and pass of the Christchurch airport tower and gently turning North .. that was that , Nice photo Gavin cool.gif

Just 5 from me today, have more aeroplane stuff to do this afternoon.
Looks like this show will produce the largest website update ever when I get the photos from the show on my site.
Off to Wanaka in a day or two so better get cracking as I don't want to have to do too much photo work when I get home.

Feel free to add your photos from the show to the thread , look forward to seeing them!!

Big bird!!

Big bird , I wonder what sort of comments were said when this one visited airports around the globe .
