Sunday at Wanaka

Disappointed that unlike previous years, there is still very little happening at Wanaka before Warbirds. Normally there would be lots of aircraft practicising, but not this year. VERY quiet indeed. But here are a few photos from Sunday, nothing outstanding but still a few nice photos.



Unusually, AirNZ had to refuel at Wanaka, not seen this before.









The camera is on standby in case of anything exciting overhead !!!

The Marque up .. tomorrow the scaffold .. porta loo shortage , possible .. very surprised we have not seen the 18 wheeler public loo truck in the NZ yet .. very clean all the time ..

Think the Thunder mustang ZK-TMG & a L39(L39 went to hokitika) + Harvards headed down your way today + Hunter to queenstown yesterday, So Might start perking up shortly HT cool.gif

On sunday everyone was still performing at Ohakea? I guess it went all weekend? not sure I didn't go.
Definitely watched 6 or 7 Harvards flying over Nelson yesterday lunchtime. Very cool.
