New Zealand DC-3's

A separate section for photographers to upload and comment on everything from amateur plane spotting images to professional air to air shots.

Earlier in August the GF and I went for a ski trip to Whakapapa and went through Taupo and Mangaweka to see a couple of DC-3's. Not quite as cool as Buffalo Airway's DC-3's, but still definitely worth the gold coin donation.
These small images are stolen from my own Facebook. Can upload bigger copies of them if anybody wants them.

See, bigger.

Reading about how the plane started it's life 70 years ago as a War plane, Passenger, Cargo and then a Top Dresser
