Hi team.

I decided at the last minute to head up to Chch to see warriors at Wigram. It's a long drive from Dunedin to Chch but it was well worth it.

For those of you that missed out on warriors at Wigram.......

Here's a hand full of shots of the 757, harvard and kiwi blue at wiggy. I'll open another topic for the remaining aircraft.

Awsome Nik, were did you take those photos from? I was standing beside the road, just west of rwy 21's threshold, wasn't a bad spot had the 757 almost fly overhead on its last pass.

I would have taken our little camera yet strangly every aa battery in the house was
flat <_<

Hearing the aircraft (especialy the 75's engins spooling up) was just awsome :P

good photos, those parashoters look kool, must be prety painful having your leg on fire and smoking like that! Pity about the gray sky thow, the 757 doesn't stand out very well with the gray clouds..

I was in the crowd, in front of the hangers, on the tarmac next to the herc parking spot.

The 350 Knot pass at 500 feet was very cool.

VNE at that altitude would be about 380ais-400ias I think, it would have slowed down a fair bit after its climbout thow... up up and threw the miserable gray clouds :P

Great pictures again, thanks for sharing.

Looks like a great event, with the Havards and DAK turning up too, my favourite shot is #1 out of the two Havard ones ;)

So I hear... Thats the closest I have ever been to a flying aircraft (apart from inside it).
