I caught the ole Spitty circuit Wiggy three times then head off to NZCH , he was smack on time 10.30 over CHCH

Some days, on the way to the museum, instead of going through the shopping precinct I go down to Eagle St and walk the footpath along the river. This usually gives me a great view of planes departing YBBN. In among all the two-engined hotrod types, I still get to see ye olde 747s...there really is something majestic about the the way they just hang there on climbout :plane:

When watching the 747 breaking after landing from the plane watchers corner on Avonhead Rd was a amazing to watch thru binoculars ... wings really flappin !
