Arrived in Tauranga this afternoon, interesting weather here as a semi storm past through Rotorua last night, meaning amazing surf on the coast this afternoon...

Which might make sailing on this interesting tonight...

And couldnt resist a few more shots of this beauty, she was parked up against the low fence, amazing that an aircraft worth so much is so accessible..

Hey Jon great shots - thought there was a cruise ship in today - you can spot all the tourists in town a mile away. How did you get so close to the cruise ship?

Have you been through the Classic Flyers Museum? - it is certainly worth a browse.

The Bay Flight aircraft a certainly a common sight in the skys around here - they also have a 172 (ZK-DAD) & a Seneca (ZK-TWN).

Cheers

Paul

Mmm wouldn't Kirk's Sabre look good in that scheme ;)

On which subject, feels like just the other day I painted this one up - Bay Flight clearly getting a little expansionist...
