That green plane! (It was there in Wellington and when we arrived in Auckland and when we arrive back in Chirstchurch from Singapore it was there and it was also there when we landed back in Wellington!)

That day in Wellington something strange occurred. All aircraft were using small amouts of the runway for take-off. When we took-off we used no more than 830m of runway! as compared with the normal 1,100m take-off run.

I got a look in the cockpit which was sweet for me. The pilots were really nice and cheerful. Pity about the unfocused shot (my camera isn't very good in these situations)

Also our take-off run from Auckland to Singapore in the 777 was very short only around 1,300m (well it seemed short to me for an absolutely full flight)

Very Nice- Shame you SQ flight was on the Older 777-200ER im presuming, not the 747-400 either. In month or 2 they are starting to service Auckland with the new 777-300ER :D
