I found a new spot at Auckland International that was perfect for taking photos today (In real life, not sim screenshots) and after taking over 200 pics thanks to the fine spring weather, I now have 17 of my best to show you:

The flying pencil.... wasn't that the Metroliner that Nelson Air (?) used to operate for ANZ as a link?

Nice pics! That last Gulfstream, I've seen a few times here before. It seems to have a NZ flag on the tail too, so presumably it's based here but still registered in the US.

That last Gulfstream, I've seen a few times here before. It seems to have a NZ flag on the tail too, so presumably it's based here but still registered in the US.

After some research on the FAA website, I found out that it is actually a "Bombardier BD-700-1A10" registered to "WELLS FARGO BANK NORTHWEST NA TRUSTEE" in Salt Lake City.

Well there must be more than one rich American residing in Auckland. I saw this Cessna Citation jet parked up at Ardmore the other week:

Sorry the reg is hidden behind that pole, but you can see it starts with 'N' on the tail

Where might I find that?

AWESOME pictures. Love that LAN livery (besides being a great shot) and love that shot of the Dash!

its just the 737 which freedom used to use, but air nz now use. hybrid in the sense that it still has the freedom coloured engines- i don't think freedom still run 737's across the tasman.

Did you mean to have the Bombardier taking off in the background or not ?
It looks very much like the a/c on the ground

It is two different photos of the same aircraft which I merged together ;)
