The first one looks like what you'd get if a CH-53 and an S-76 mated :o What has Australia been doing?

Top pics- thanks for posting.

I'd really like to go planespotting at Darwin, they seem to have quite a variety of aircraft there, especially with the US military using that 11,000 ft runway! Anyone know what the airport access is like for photography?

I don't think it's bad, but in saying that it's not great either. It's getting there that's the annoying bit. There's a pretty good view from the VA hangars, and there's some really rare aircraft there sometimes- last year when I was there I saw a Russian Myasischev (spelling? :P ) which is pretty much the Russian version of the American U-2. I can try and dig up some pics if you guys want? I'll have a look through all dad's photos from Darwin and post the more interesting ones.
