Posted: Wed May 21, 2008 9:28 pmI saw that earlier when I was having a quick browse- thought from the thumbnail that the aircraft may have been Airtrainers but the scenery didn't look like anywhere in NZ that I could recognise- anyone know the location?

That was what I thought... Either that or Kapiti, but the cliffs are wrong I think.

I dont think it was Lake Wanaka but one close by.
Just got home from a day at Ardmore and didnt see it as pic of the day but have had a few best photos on that site lately which is pretty cool just goes to show we have lots of great aircraft and pilots to show them off.
