A couple of the VPA guys will have seen this, but thought everyone else might enjoy it. Some shots from my trip to San Francisco a couple of days ago..

Boeing 777-200ER direct across the Pacific Ocean.

Next we are on descent and on approach. A great deal of spoiler was used on descent (i thought we looked high!)

brings back lotta memories , .....they do seem to use a lot off spolier at wicked alt ? think they may be very slippery planes :)

I have never seen it before on any aircraft, perhaps they are using the meljet 777 model :P
