Ahh thanks Paul. A very sad sight indeed.
I'll always have fond memories of flying out of that lovely old airfield with a lot of history, also hunting round with a metal detector one evening with a group of people... found a few little old goodies.
I wish I could have been there to see this event.
Now I just gotta figger out when my last flight out of there was. I hope it was in something with a little class or history...

Wrong sorta day , Two Daks and 7660 , even the weather disagreed with the closer , a black day it really was ! little chance off any photos
