As part of the greater push into other markets following the release of the VLC patch, VLC will be releasing a film with Jaggyroad Films- These are the guys that make the best flightsim videos on the web

So this cheeky question is- What do you, as VLC customers, think is the best way to promote this addon?
What feature really makes you smile? biggrin.gif What area of NZ with VLC makes your chest beat with kiwi pride? New_Zealand_etc.gif What other aspect would make you buy it all over again if you have known about before purchase? What other ideas do you think would be good?

I've asked this question on the Jaggyroads forum (mostly American membership so interesting answers!) but would love to know what you think!

Cheers

Pretty much anything VFR that has hills, rivers & trees! West cost of the SI, Milford come to mind. Tooling along in a spitfire, weaving through tree-clad rugged terrain looks great (if one has a PC to keep up with the speed!).

Marae, coastline, mountains, and I guess emphasizing the very different landscapes that you can fly over in NZ and the accuracy of VLC. Pretty much everything
I love jaggyroad films, will be interesting to see what they come up with smile.gif

Cheers, Jimmy

Tree line and wind breaks enhanced with the autogen is the big one , paddock textures matching the road along with housing following the veins of the towns . The last is a very hard one , maybe create a small template to place at various degrees .

I can not think of how it could be represented in a video, but if you could somehow pick a popular local and show people the reality of VFR navigation with VLC. By this I mean show people how you can use the terrain to recognize where you are and find roads/rivers whatever real life objects you know to find you way around, For me this is the highlight of VLC, the ability to navigate recognizable areas just by looking our the windscreen of the plane. I have followed roads/rivers/general geography to towns and places I know.

Why not pinch some actual aerial photos taken in VFR flights (Trolly has hundreds of them on facebook) and in the video make the same flights in FSX and pause at the appropriate moment to compare VLC versus the real thing ?
