Yet another question about power supplys and fans

I only have 3 spare power plugs on my computer. So I was wondering something. If a PCI-e video card uses one of these 4 pin plugs, and a simple case fan uses the same type of plug, there would obviously be a large amount of difference in power being used between these two components. So I was wondering, is it possible to get some adapters for these plugs, which turn one plug into two plugs? (much like the double plug things we see on power sockets in our houses).
Does it make any sense? If so, is this possible?
