Hardware benchmarking using FSX

I've found a couple of reviews which use FSX as a benchmark for hardware-
Asus 8800GTX graphics card
Core 2 Duo X6800 vs Athlon 64 FX-62

so if you've got money to burn on a PC, a Core 2 Duo with a geforce 8 graphics card will give you the best performance- 16x AA looks awesome too. heck, with those settings, i wouldn't even get their minimum frame rate as my maximum!

Yes it looks impressive and thats only with dx9, with dx10 the graphics should be staggering
