Registering FS9

Hi,

After installing FS9 on my machine last night, I went to do the regisration online.

The thing is it comes up with an error on the Microsoft website. I wish I could remember what the message was, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had a problem with registration and how they solved it... I'm guessing it will continue to request installation disc 4 until I register the software.

I searched the Microsoft site for 'Flight Simulator registration' but alas, no luck.

Hi Fin, you don't need to register FS9 - it was meant to run with a CD in the drive, and registering it won't change that.
Be aware there is a patch from MS which fixes some issues in the original sim.
Don't know if it came with your version, but the latest is FS9.1 so check out the MS website.
There are other workarounds we won't go into here, I'll PM you some stuff to help improve the experience.

I did see the upgrade on the Microsoft site, but was too eager to get into the sim. I'll download the upgrade today.
