Hit F9 while flying, click the options menu above the map and click multiplayer connect, then enter the sever IP (and password if required) and Bob's your uncle!

For squawkbox (and IvAp) type clients, you'd want to type in the local IP address (i.e. yours). So, type in 'localhost' or '127.0.0.1'. The range of the 'radar' is generally regulated by the server. ;)

Server IP address is good for default FS Multiplayer, but not for the "Hub-and-Leaf" server system networks like IVAO and VATSIM use (I assume you're using SB with VATSIM). :wink2:

Thanks for the reply Alex, but still cant seem to get around the issue, i tried the "Localhost" and "127.0.0.1" in FShost but it didn't seem to do anything
is there a step i missed here or something?

Thanks again

Are you using Squawkbox to connect to VATSIM? Or a private network? :)
