Video Goggles vs Multi or single screen

Hi Team, Does anyone have experience with using the latest range of video googles with FSX? With head tracking on board it would seem to be a good flight experience. Any comments appreciated.
My first thoughts were to run with instuments on the laptop screen and the out window stuff on one or two 22" screens. But video goggles got in the way so far.
Thus far I have one decent laptop, FSX with excelerator and one 22" screen.
