SAITEK MULTI PANEL

Hi folks.
I am running FSX on a WIN 7 OS, NVIDEA GTX460 card and enough RAM.
Installed the SAITEK MULTI PANEL, alongside my COM/NAV, YOKE, Throttle Quad and Pedals kit. The Auto Pilot on the SMP worked well for a while.
Pitch Trim worked at times as did the Flaps (not going down incrementally only full). Not withstanding having the AP going was brilliant and really enhanced the flying.

Sadly not now, The AP works off and on, the Vertical speed, not at all, Heading works great and I have not tried yet the approach or reverse VOR settings.

Worse still when I switch it off to hand fly the landing, I loose my control of ailerons and pitch control / elevators. Not funny landing using only rudder, power and flaps.

Also on my rudder pedals I now have lost the toe breaks.

when I go to set up on FSX, and tried to match the pedal breaks to the control settings it doesn't recognise the pedals at all ( I am told because they should automatically be set up as they are (successfully ) for the rudder.

I have down loaded new drivers, plugged them in and out, put external power onto the yoke, got a powered multi point hub etc etc.

I fly the A2A 172, the Carenado and F1 B200s but I get the same results on the standard FSX aircraft as well.

I realise there could be a myriad of reasons but am just wondering if anyone else has the same issues with the Multiplan
