Spad Next and Saitek Combat Pedals

Anyone out there got this combo working. I have the brakes on all the time, regardless of calibration, axis invert (or not), etc.
I'm running 'through' a registered version of FSUIPC5 but have confirmed I have no settings for brakes in there. Nor in P3D itself either.
Pedals worked fine 'out of the box' in Windows / P3Dv4 so I may need to revert to that, but I was trying / wanting to have all controls in one place.
