Good point Tom laugh.gif

Andrew, jailbreaking isn't illegal as such. Apple will not be particularly happy though.
If you sent it in for repair and it was 'jailbreaked' then they can refuse to help you, but what they don't know won't hurt them. If you restore it, they'll never know.

The iPod touch is quite a cool gadget though. I want one, but I don't want to pay for it.

Just to revive this topic- got an unexpected $600 tax back from the IRD, and although its not as much as I originally intended to put towards a system, I'm wondering if I'd be able to get a basic-ish new desktop capable of running Vista + FSX (or FS2004 really well)?

What do you guys rekon? Should I save up more, or are there any links towards machines capable of this task you know of?

Update- just doing some late night browsing and came across this: http://www.pbtech.co.nz/index.php?item=WKSPB1123

Would this be up to the job?
