It's a good question - I've done it many times.

Basically everything you've fiddled with from bog standard default - try Addon Scenery, Scenery, Aircraft, Gauges, effects etc etc etc., if in doubt save it anyway.

Just ask yourself if I had to go back to default, what would I lose.

Good luck.

Thanks Bazza for taking the time to comment. It appears you are the only one who does a backup. LOL.

Backup? Hmmm ... strange concept laugh.gif

I gave up when I found Vista writing FSX files all over my PC - in the weirdest places. Profiles in one place, pics in another, flight plans etc. in yet another ... grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Hahah! Nice one laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

I'm sure I've seen some tools around somewhere - specifically for FS9/FSX ... not sure whether they were freeware or commercial.

Addon Scenery folders
gauges
simobjects
effects
world scenery folder if you have installed robs scenerys and most others because of exc/ afcads /and flatten switches
this mostly included the Oceania folder mainly

also there is other files in your docs that have saves etc for FSX /fs2004

if you are into design the ddl is a good back up ,if you dont understand what that file is dont worry about it
