Well after years and months about me complaining getting a gaming pc I've finnaly brought one and is on the way! It's being built now. So hopefully it'll arrive this Sunday.

I'm 200% sure you'll luv the speed & performance of the PC with the 2.8ghz Core2duo CPU in it,

Sounds like a solid rig, very similar in spec to mine... although I'm only running the 2.6Ghz quad.
You might not get away with all settings maxed out, but dont worry - FSX has plenty of eye-candy to offer even at 75% maxed out

god sakes , dont overclock ..... ya be back here asking why ya PC blu up after only 12 months use ... spend more on ya RAM and G/card .
let the pc do what its designed to do .
lololol overclock it eddy, see what happens.... woot no warrantee and a dead CPU awaits you
.
i only OC'ed mine because it was gonna be used for about a week so i thrashed it up to 4.5ghz LOL on arctic cooling

overclocking is fine. You just have to know the limit of your system and know when to stop.
If you are planning to overclock, I would:
1 Find out what brand power supply that is. If its a cheap brand, go for soemthing with a brand name
1.5 Find out what brand the ram is. If its no name stuff, you may run into problems
2 Read up on overclocking. Mainly, the safe temps and voltages the cpu AND motherboard can handle .
3 Make sure your cooling is adequate. You will have to beef up that cpu cooler. Also note what cooling is on your motherboards northbridge and southbridge chips
4 Be prepared to have to spend extra $$$ if something does blow up. You wont have a warranty if something happens. This will not be a problem unless you are reckless.
5 Test, test, test. This is the most important part of overclocking. You need to test your system once you beef up clock speeds, in order to make sure its running fine, and the temperatures stay below a safe limit
I can almost guarantee overclocking will not harm anything unless you become unrealistic with targets.
Look at my sig computer. Overclocked 2 years and never missed a beat. $70 CPU running right up there with the (at that time) $400 ones
Nice PC though. Should get right up there in the FSX settings, but i dont think max. To get highest settings for FSX, you would have to start looking into quad cores (either the high end ones, or overclocking something like a Q6600) For crysis you really want some more graphics processing power in order to be able to max the settings

Throw caution to the wind 9GHZ
BOOM

hahaha, now that would be fun... i doubt it would run a 1 minute burn in let alone a 24hr burn in

ummm..............I basically got FSX on MAX settings. Averages FPS 20-90
Crysis Warhead is on the max settings but anti-aliasing is off.
