I managed to pick up a copy of Voice Buddy 3.0 from FSPilotShop.Com (via Flightsim.com) on the Saturday for US$9.95 (NZ$15). This download price was a one-off for the weekend. I probably wouldn't have even looked at it if it was still at the old price of US$39, but I think it's turned out to be good buy.
Have had a heck of a time trying to get it to run on MS Vista with FSX. After working through a swarth of patches, finally got it to run last night. After a initial bit of voice training, I have got it to run well. Spent a few hours tonight 'playing' with it, and actually having a enjoyable time with it. Especially like how you can initiate cabin announcements such as 'Please fasten your seatbeats for landing', etc.
Anyone else out there running Voice Buddy, or even Cockpit Chatter?
