Just wondering if I can put large scenery files and aircraft onto a remote harddrive so as to free space and hopefully speed processing times when FS9 is operating. If so how does one let FS9 know where to look for them and use them.
Thanks,
Adrian.

This is easy with addon scenery -- just add the folder on the new drive to the Scenery Library as usual. (You could move the default scenery folders, and change the pointer within the library, but this may mess up future scenery installations, when installers go looking in the Registry for the FS location.)
I think you can also do this with aircraft in FSX, but I don't know of any way to do it in FS2004.
