Hi guys,

I brought my new laptop but not the Dell i was looking at. I got a Toshiba Satellite A500/42. It is amazing! Runs FS9 with everything maxed and a lot of addons at about 60fps.

But now I have a problem.. I go to start a flight and it loads up to 77% then stalls and exits FS9.

HELP!!

Cheers.

Go to your app documents "C:\Documents and Settings\Creator\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9" or something along those lines ,you must have folders without the hidden folders settings ,you can change this setting in your control panel under folder options

what you want to do is track down you fs9.cfg file ,once you do this just delete it and restart fs9 ,this will build another cfg and should start the sim up for you ..
hope this helps
also if you do a search on this forum ,you should find the same details ive posted before about the fs9.cfg file ,,dont worry this was a very common problem and usually a simple fix ..

Have you included the fs9.1 update after you put fs9 on your new computer.
I had a similar problem and once the fs9.1 update was installed the matter resolved.
just google fs9 updates and you can download it from there.

I downloaded the update and installed it, but the game sometimes still crashes when it reads "Loading Weather, 77%" sad.gif

Now it sometimes it makes it to the game screen but the runway/most textures (including the sky) are all a flickering creamy colour,

HELP PLEASE!!!!

I may have deleted one of the main FS9 folders...
