now 48 cores, that is awesome.
unfortunatly probably more for cloud (single computer to lots of dummy terminals) servers than everyday computing.

Cool 96 ram and 5.6ghz, I only have a laptop but FSX runs very smooth but thats on high performance...

I,ve come to the conclusion that there will never be a computor too fast for fsx. It will just keep rendering more. Just think, a world covered in 7cm/pixel photoreal with masses of auto gen is still far beyond the means of even the fasted i7 (and our biggest hard drives) lol. but thats what FSX was built to handle. Its hard to believe but microsoft seems to have future proofed FSX in some ways. The greatest but most unlikely thing would be for Microsoft to make the code open scoarse. Yeh like that il ever happen. They have just sold the rights to the proffesional version to boeing I think.

I gotta quit making silly techno remarks , had to head into work earlier today , a quick scrub in bathroom only to find my comm's pc did it own good night Irene and looks like it has done a funky chicken ... oh well back to my local friendly pc shop later this morning ... Austin will be rubbing his hand as i storm across the carpark with PC in hand .. not serious ... guess power supply kaput !
