Does anyone Get the WindowsSecrets newsletters from http://WindowsSecrets.com/ there is a free version and a donation paid version. For anyone that plays around with computers I strongly recommend the paid version also have a look at http://lounge.windowssecrets.com/ for those who are looking for information on most things to do with PC programs and Windows IE; when to download and install Microsoft patches and which ones you should hold off until they have been tested plus heaps of free apps can all be found in the paid version although a lot of info is in the free version I would recommend you donate to get the paid version. WindowsSecrets is compiled by some of the best computer gurus in the USA.

I'm an old-time Fred Langa list subscriber and added this list when he took time off a while back. Always worth a quick scan/read but sadly (these days) it just adds to my I.T. info overload sad.gif

End off the day it comes down to what most are comfortable with ... we all had had AVG, Avast ,Norton's , and the list go on , sorta a mute convo in respect if you have just recent put a payware AV promoted only to be told its useless , its simple .. if you have a AV GOOD ! it really depends on your PC , if that gets compromised like many do ... go check the vendor !
