Changing an Autopilot

Afternoon all

I have a couple of Aircraft one been the Captain sims b727 and the other the Wilco citationX both have differnet Autopilots.

can I change the autopilots from an Aircraft like the lear jet or airbus boeings.

to make them Easier to use. EG hold headings, climb and then hold Alt. air speed etc

I hope there is a way

This will depend on how Captain Sim and Wilco have engineered their aircraft. While I don't have those particular aircraft, I tried something similar with the FS9 version of the Captain Sim C130 - with mixed resultsl!! Certain functions worked while others didn't.

The only way to check is to use something like FS Panel Studio, remove the autopilot gauge(s) (There may be more than one) and replace it with your preferred autopilot gauge. As always, make sure you back up the panel.cfg file first!!
