Hi There,

I have just downloaded THIS DC-4, and its great fun to fly around, and im having a ball with it.

Only problem is i want to change the ASI for it. The person who did this just used the default DC-3 gauge. And obviously, the speed limits are going to be different for a DC-4.
So im wondering, how had is it to make a ASI? I havnt had much of a look around yet, ill do that after work.

If anyone has any tips, or even wants to give it a shot for me, that would be great.

These are the speeds if anyone does.
Vso - 75 KIAS
Vs1 - 87 KIAS
Vfe - 130 KIAS
Vg (Not sure what its real name is, but speed for gear) - 156 KIAS
Vne - 218 KIAS

Im also not sure if it has a Vno speed aswell.
But if anyone wants to give that a shot, that would be great, otherwise ill be giving it a go.

Cheers,
Dion

I wonder if you could use the gauge from maybe the recent freeware Connie by Manfred Jahn or other similar type , freeware B-29 , be a few choices out there .

Just had another idea. Instead of making a whole new ASI. Could i just change the face of the ASI?
So i would keep all the speeds in the same place, but just move where the green arc and all that go.

Ill try that out and see how it goes.

[EDIT] Well, with some careful editing in....erm...paint haha. I got it looking pretty good
