Hey Guys I had FSX for ages and decided to purchase Fs2004 a while ago and its great the only thing i hate is when your toggling through the views the 2D panel is one of them, is there any way to remove this ?

Not in FS9/FS2004 unless you have FSUIPC and are willing to do some programming as a workaround - I'm about to do something similar on FS9 to remove the virtual cockpit in my simpit.......
