FS9 Cloud

The place to ask for help or solve each others technical issues and discuss hardware

Morning all. After using FSX for so long clouds in FS9, well...cumulous to be exact looks awful, even with using REX. Horrible puffy looking things. Is there anyway of deleting them all together? Have tried using weather station settings but they never save dry.gif

I be keeping your REX ( FSX-FS9? only works with one or the other), there is quiet a bit of tweaking and adjustment , only three areas (centers) pick up the real world weather Auckland -Wellington -Christchurch ,

Why the return to FS9

Hi ian....After many installs, tweaks and the like I have become too fussy and prefer a much smoother gaming experience. Although Im running a pretty darn got laptop FSX still has its traits. The only downfall with fs9 is I like clouds and the challenge but they look so 'cheap' and puffy. I like a large cumulous and not little type ones spread everywhere...am running REX and to be honest, am begining to think some of the free ware is much better where money is concernedand effects

I think Laptops are not designed for flightsim , i use mine for AGN .. least planed , FSX especially - but i had a good friend running the program , never though to ask 'Waka172 ' Blake,s spec,s , had a damn good chin wag over many evening MP,s on Team-Speak , but also for a lotta fun and questions , its a pity Blake is off line current as he could afford some help with settings , jezz the chap was all over the South Pacific and his only fun was the PC and Flightsim and what a bloody airline pilot to boot .. virtual appears to more fun than than real .

Don't forget to upgrade to V2 Charl!

Erps, quite right!
Also see Pablo's (Beta but great anyway) Sun Glow textures:

He also did a pretty good Lexus photoreal paint which I just did a drive-by download on...
