Hi there guys.
I was wondering if you guys could help me with a little problem.
I downloaded 'retro a1 traffic vol 1' last night, you know, the one from 'Snowmans' site, with the NAC's and that, but I couldn't get the traffic to show up.
This is pertaining to FS2004.
The downloads came with 'Traffic files' that had 4 sub folders within it,namely:NAC\ANZ early80's\ANZ late 80's and Safe Air.
Each of these sub folders had 3 text files and one BGL file(or is that BLG,you know the one I mean).
The install instructions from what I could gather said to move the BGL file(depending on what era you want)into the scenery/world/scenery folder, which did have a collection of BGL files.Did that.(starting with NAC)and nothing showed up.I would have thought that those 'text files'would have had to go somewhere?.But it didn't seem to instruct the installer to put them anywhere.Could this be what I missed? Also I don't think I "moved" the BGL file, but copied and pasted it.I thought about that today at work,as a potential reason for the 'no show'.
Could some people please help me with this?I realize I have to get some extra files to get the DC10 & 737's,but I just wanted to see some Friendships.
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards from your fellow simmer Pete. sad.gif

Pete that's probably a bigger question than you know...AI can go wrong in so many different ways.
Make sure you RTFM, Lawrie did good readme's.
Essentially you need 3 things:
- AI aircraft in "\Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft"
- Traffic BGL's in "\Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\World\scenery"
- AFCAD files if supplied in "\Flight Simulator 9\Addon Scenery\scenery" or as directed, making sure no duplicates exist anywhere that clash. (Sometimes you need them in "\Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\World\scenery" for NZ sceneries but the readme will tell you)

Hope this helps a little...

Hi Pete at the moment we are working on some classic AI traffic at this stage I have most of SAFE AIR aircraft working just sorting out a few problems with flight plans to park them at different airports to stop some congestion.
Just about finished is the NAC and ANZ Viscounts and also working on adding approx 12 to 14 NAC and NZA F27s.
We hope to have them all up and running in the next couple of weeks.
