Ive got Windows XP pro, and Im thinking of downgrading to home (which I also own a copy of) so i can get a little extra cash :P

Just wondering, is there anything I will not have on Home that I need?
I have had Home edition on 2 previous computers and I didnt notice anything different with Professional, but just want to make sure. Also, will it still work well with a dual core?

Thanks

i think the real differences are in the advanced networking. i too have XP Home on both my laptop and my desktop, i've had no problems.

apparantly they're only seperated by one file, so they really are the same operating system.

yep just loaded it up with Home, and its working perfectly fine. Now, all I need is to be able to sell pro on Trademe without them removing the auction. They seem to be doing that alot to OS's lately... <_<
