Hi,

I did a search and couldn't find any discussions about it so figured I would put something up...
I am using the NZ Lifecam HD5000....I found a bloke on YouTube that has put up a tutorial video in English (there is one in French) and got the settings and Curves off that..he has also put up a complete settings list....it runs very well in FSX now (Phillips older 170B 17" LCD monitor)....

I had been trying to get the freetracker with a headset and LEDs going but didnt in the end (should have bought the recommended LEDs from a online store in Aussie...see the online forum for that etc..)

Anyway just letting everyone know it goes ok

Rgds

I'am using Freetrack with a Wii remote (means high FPS - above 100), with IR LEDs and absolutely loving it. It's smooth as, and didn't cost me $300-400. It was around $15 and some DIY time with a a solder. I've been having this setup for 2 years now, with no problems. I'm happy to share how I did it, however there is plenty of tutorials on the web for that too.

Break the Piggybank and get the TrackIR 5.
They have the software sussed... I gave up on the freeware thing eventually, but am pretty pleased with TrackIR now.
EDIT: Well there you have 2 views simultaneously posted; I have found LED's difficult to have around my face, plain tracker hat and drop the blinds gives a no-pain result.

I'll take a couple of photos tomorrow, and post a full tutorial on this.

EDIT: I might do a youtube video on this...a lot easier.
