unsure.gif I have just upgraded my computer to Windows 7 and everytime I click on my FSX icon
I get the following message.............
'The Colour shceme has been changed to Windows 7 Basic.
A running programme isn't compatible with certain visual elements of Windows'.

Can anyone direct me in what to do to override this or suggest some other options.

its normal, you wont get past it. All it is, is direct draw turning off aero to be compatible with older games. There are a lot out there that do it.

So dont fret it is normal.

Thanks Rotordude....
Does that also mean using Nvidia Inspector and their settings does not apply in this case? Just wondering - not that I have it installed but was thinking about it
Cheers

Inspector settings will still apply as they are root level nvidia driver settings, the turning off of the Aero theme is purely a windows thing. When you close FSX aero will re launch and windows will be back to normal.
