Heya guys has anyone here had any problems with FSX locking up with SimSheds Westland Wessex ,..it goes fine showing up in the aircraft selection screen and even loads into FSX then just as you see it on screen FSX freezes,..same thing with a Blue Thunder Helo I tried to port. I googled it and for the most part the Wessex seems to function fine in FSX except for the usual prop disk problems,...any idea's ??

Could be a older gauge still there or textures bmp maybe need changing to DX1 ,i use a program called texture doctor for this ..

Dang , seems everyone is having lockups and crash's these days , I'll install the Wessex directly .. love that Chopper , due having a few issue's myself let you no .

No problems at all , had to do a d/load ...lost the other file saved - but gauges and all work fine ... dose require a texture fix with the rotors , but gauges and effects work fine .

thanks Mike n Ian,..for me it was an FS98 clock and compass that were locking it up,...I converted the wessex textures in one folder as well then tried the non coverted textures and still worked so definately the gauges ,..any WOOHOO now I have a working Wessex AND Blue Thunder now . Now to paint the Wessex into "Screaming Mimi " form TV Series Riptide !...stay posted ..

Jake and the Fateman type RIPTIDE only watched it for the Helo

Still had the rotor issue , i going to see if my AW109 rotor texture will fix this

But course other reason .. I jumped on board the type at the 1998 Wanaka WOW Show

A "Screaming Mimi " would well deserve this one .. Pink and the bolts
