I have my 200GB HDD divided into 4 partitions:
C-Windows Vista 30GB
D-Windows XP 30GB
E-Games 120GB
F-System programmes- 20GB

So I had windows XP going, and I decided to restart my computer. Then it said a dll file was missing, and that re installing this file should fix the problem. So, I start up windows vista, and to my total horror, I find that when I click on D drive, it says it is corrupt and unreadable. Is there any way to save my XP installation, or is it totally stuffed?

Help please
-

Ok, back up all the data you need (your FS aircraft, music etc ;) ) onto CDs/DVDs. Then you'll need to wipe your hard drive and reinstall windows. Google "reformat windows" to find out how to do it.

ok got it sorted. I just re installed XP on c, and everythings alright again. I have no idea how the windows directory can get corrupted like that though :o
