Hi everyone,

I have built a custom collective for heli flying using the Saitek Pro Flight yoke's throttle and I was wondering how I would effectively half the distance needed to go from idle to full throttle? Currently the Saitek throttle has 90 degrees of motion but I would like to limit that to the first, say, 45 degrees (45 degrees being full throttle as opposed to 90 degrees being full throttle). Does anyone know if this is possible? I hope I have been clear, I couldn't really figure out how to word it!

Hi ya Delta and Welcome NZFF , had a thought about this and the way to reduce the travel is run a couple simply levers thus reducing the travel , course having the lever beside more akin to a collective .. require a little constructive work and a few materials and bit of lateral thinking , I dont think you can reduce it via FSUIPC .

Yep, FSUIPC can handle that for you in the axis calibration. You are better off assigning the axis directly to FSUIPC and not in the normal FS settings, then FSUIPC can do it's magic to the input

Thanks for the help guys, I've managed to sort something out using dead zones etc and it now seems to be working correctly (just got some fine tuning to do). I will post pics soon in a new topic, I just want to get some buttons and switches on it first

If were able to see some of the little tinky bits Sean makes for some off these fang dangle cockpits .. i'm sure your in very very good hands and mentioned .. post some photos ... course what is your choice heilo
