I found an old case fan in the shed today (yes theres heaps of old junk in the shed), and I thought, "hey, what could an extra fan hurt in my computer?". So I plugged it in, turned it on, and it worked like a dream. I could actually feel the air coming out of it from about 40cm away, and it was very quiet. Then, all of a sudden, a plastic blade came off the fan, and embedded itself into the side of a cardboard box :o

maybe I wont put this one in my computer
