Any suggestions apart from reading the 137 page manual??

Plan-G upgrade to current version now has an edge that stops short ot the Chathams., If I do a quick plan NZCI to NZWN it directs me around the globe?

As I recall the earlier version was seamless. Yeah I know I could reinstall the older version, but the newer is better than the old - except for this.

I am hoping I have missed something in the install. rolleyes.gif

Les, only Suggestion is carry drums of fuel in the back, drop throw them out after emptying them, you need them to float home on. winkyy.gif

Won't have time...I set the autopilot and am having a snooze in the back of the plane, then watch a little TV, ho hum...just like - Supertramp, take the long way home.

sure would like to solve it tho :-).

This is maybe the time line thingy , have you tried as an experiment up around the arctic circle, and see if the error occurs ?

Edit : another idea .. what happens if you go from NZWN to NZCI ?

WN - Ci same..
Tried UHMA - CYHI - same problem.
Can't see anything on the Plan G forum either ( maybe looking in the wrong place) or searching the wrong question..

Very frustrating!

Unfortunately it's a limitation of the map container control. The developer has been promising to fix it for well over a year, but when/if that'll happen is anybody's guess.[color="#FF00FF"]

Thanks for the ideas Ian. Can you suggest any other FREE flight planners?

Even i use IFR and works within flightsim, ive used my charts that i copied and modified originally dated back to 1998 , FS9/FSX the charts are still relevant tho outta of date, still have all the ILS and Nav to get you home in any weather .. Queenstown is the fun one, but the charts posted at flightsim.com are only primary airline point to point BUT they still work and the good thing is i have them in a desktop clear-folder and can track exactly where i am to the nearest mile/km cool.gif
